PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project will support the design to reverse the severe health and environmental damage caused by the degradation of the Aral Sea. It will help to improve the health of the rural population of Karakalpaskstan and Khorezm, two of the poorest regions of Uzbekistan, by investing in water and sanitation infrastructure.
