Supporting the communications objectives, PIC increases the outreach for WB and overall development information to the regions; proactively disseminates WB communication products and ESW. Dissemination includes a wide range of activities. Among them are: direct mailing, presentations, round tables, press conferences, media tours to the projects etc.
One more tool for disseminating findings of the World Bank flagships and ECA regional studies is presentations via video conferencing facilities. ECA trade report: From Disintegration to Reintegration: Eastern Europe and the Former Soviet Union in International Trade was presented (PDF, 842KB) on 6 March, 2006.
The latest presentations of ESW included dissemination of Uzbekistan Public Expenditures Review (PDF, 1.2MB) and Cotton Taxation (PDF, 750KB).
Media tours were undertaken to Tashkent solid waste management project (PDF, 635KB) and Rural Enterprise Support Project (PDF, 600KB).
